Registered Dietitian Whitney Roberts with Blount Memorial Hospital shows us how to make a tasty, healthy salad.



  • 1 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ΒΌ cup raspberry vinegar
  • 2 T. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • Salad greens
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Feta cheese, crumbled


In a bowl prepare dressing by whisking together garlic, honey, Dijon mustard, raspberry vinegar, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and oil.

In a large bowl, toss together toasted almonds, salad greens, strawberries and feta cheese. Cover with the dressing mixture, toss to serve.
