I report from the field and anchor 10News at noon weekdays. I also produce a bi-weekly segment Thursdays on 10News at 6 called Volunteer Heart about East Tennessee's one of a kind volunteer spirit.

In May 2011, I moved from the Gulf Coast to the mountains to tell East Tennessee's stories for WBIR.

Before coming to Channel 10, I spent two years as a reporter for WMBB News 13 in Panama City, Florida. There I covered severe weather, politics, and the BP Oil Spill.

I started my career as an editor at WVUA-TV while studying journalism at the University of Alabama. Before graduation, I worked my way up to a reporter and anchor. I won awards from the Associated Press and the Alabama Association of Broadcasters for my work there.

When I'm not working, I am enjoying our beautiful mountains and lakes, traveling, and watching football. I am also a proud big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Friend me on Facebook and follow me on twitter. I would love to hear any ideas!
