CENTREVILLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- On Monday morning, WUSA's chopper flew over Interstate 66 where it appears lane stripes are coming up and creating a mess on the roadway.
Traffic anchor Monika Samtani tweeted: "Oh no! Line stripes are coming apart I-66 EB at Rt29 Centreville..drivers slowing down big time thru the area @wusa9 #vatraffic @VaDOTNOVA."
VDOT crews had worked on a weekend project in the area. We hope to find out later what may have cause the stripes to come up and apart.
