Police are looking for a gunman who shot a man and then took his pants early this morning while he was waiting outside a Nashville club.
The 35-year-old victim was sitting in his car outside The Cave nightclub on Ninth Avenue South when the suspect approached, according to Metro Captain Kenneth Walburn. The suspect allegedly demanded the victim's pants at gunpoint.
Walburn said the suspect shot the victim once in the foot.
The man drove himself to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is expected to recover.
Walburn described the suspect as a black man who is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and black tennis shoes.
