(WBIR) The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is looking for more volunteers to help out in a center at the park's highest elevation.

The park is currently recruiting people to help staff the information center at Clingmans Dome during its peak season between April 1 and November 30.

Volunteers would be asked to work at least one four-hour shift per week, either 9:30 am until 1:30 pm or 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Selected volunteers would work alongside park employees to help provide information to guests.

Training will be held in early March at the Oconaluftee Administration Building north of Cherokee, North Carolina.
