Knoxville is asking for public input about a possible city-wide network designed for bicycles.

The plan calls to expand on the 50 miles of bike lanes already in Knoxville while keeping riders safer and improving accessibility, including through greenways and bike paths.

Right now, consultants are looking for ways to connect gaps in the network and where to extend it.

The final plan and an estimated cost are expected to be done by late August.
