A proposal that would have required all UT students to buy dining dollars each semester is off the table

UT Dining Services officials are trying to come up with a way to boost campus dining after a drop in meal plan enrollment and an increase in retail sales.

They presented the proposal to the Student Government Association but decided to table the plan based on feedback they received from students.

Dining Services officials are still working to come up with another plan to improve campus dining interest.
