Ruby Tuesday announced Wednesday the company will be eliminating 50 positions at their restaurant support center in Maryville.

The company says the move is to reduce operating costs through restructuring. They say they expect to save $6 million annually starting in 2015 as a result of the restructuring plans.

The layoffs come on the heels of millions of dollars in reported losses.

In the last year, the chain has added new leadership and closed a number of restaurants, including Marlin & Rays, Truffles Grill and Wok Hay.
