Country superstar Alan Jackson's daughter was arrested overnight for allegedly drinking underage and hitting a police officer. At one point, police said, she said her father "would do anything I wanted him to do."

Alexandra "Ali" Jackson, 20, was a passenger in a Range Rover that was pulled over for speeding and tailgating near Wedgewood Avenue and 12th Avenue South, according to her arrest warrant. Police quickly noted Jackson had "consumed a large amount of alcohol.

"While an officer was questioning the driver, the warrant said, Jackson got out of the car and made angry demands. Eventually, the warrant said, she hit the officer in the chest.Jackson resisted when the officer attempted to handcuff her and put her in the patrol car, the warrant said.

She told police she had three alcoholic drinks, the warrant said. Her arresting officer said she was slurring her words and smelled of alcohol.

Jackson was charged with consuming alcohol under 21, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.

Alan Jackson's publicist said the singer had no comment on the arrest Wednesday morning.

Alan Jackson celebrated the release of his latest album at The Station Inn on 12th Avenue Tuesday night.
