The slogan for Austin, Texas -- where that popular combination of nerdy gadgetry and cool rap stylings known as the South by Southwest festival is taking place -- is "keep Austin weird." And the most talked about event of the festival seems to be doing just that.
NSA leaker Edward Snowden, in a teleconference from Russia, gave tips on the best ways to keep Big Brother from watching us. His lecture on improving encryption technology was met with a vigorous round of applause and a standing ovation. Then, according to one comedian, Snowden added that these improvements should be made after he finishes watching House of Cards using President Obama's Netflix account information.
