This is the week we could find out who will be the Vols' starting quarterback when they take the field for the first home game on August 31.
At practice Monday, Coach Butch Jones said he was getting closer to naming the winner of the quarterback competition that's been going on since last season.
Senior Justin Worley and sophomores Nathan Peterman and Joshua Dobbs are up for the job.
Jones said he's going to watch some more film tonight and tomorrow, and thinks he'll announce his decision this week. But, he also said there's not set time frame or deadline (other than the first game!) for naming the starting QB.
Meanwhile, Vols WR Pig Howard is back with the team after missing the spring for personal reasons.
He spoke to the media about his return.
Freshman defensive end Derek Barnett has been impressing Tennessee's coaches.
Barnett also spoke to the media on Monday.
