(TENNESSEAN - KNOXVILLE) — Rajion Neal ran for three touchdowns and Tennessee took advantage of seven Western Kentucky turnovers for a 52-20 win.
Neal had two 1-yard TD runs and a 7-yard TD run. Two of his scores came in the third quarter.
The Hilltoppers (1-1) had five interceptions and two fumbles. Five of the turnovers came during six consecutive WKU plays in the first quarter.
Justin Coleman returned a Brandon Doughty pass 23 yards for the Vols' first score.
Cameron Sutton returned a Doughty pass 36 yards for the Vols' second touchdown.
The Vols (2-0) got a field goal, then a Neal TD after two Hilltoppers fumbles.
The Vols also had an interception in the end zone inthe second quarter.
Leon Allen got the Hilltoppers' first touchdown on a 1-yard run in the second quarter.
WKU scored again with 23 seconds left in the half after a blocked punt. Doughty connected with Nicholas Norris for a 6-yard TD pass.
