Tennessee football held an Orange Carpet day for recruits back in June and picked up four commitments that weekend. Saturday was the second Orange Carpet day of the summer and it was pretty much Christmas in July for Butch Jones with four more recruits giving their commitment to the Vols.

Butch Jones added 2015 defensive end Marques Ford to the commit list. He is a three-star from Gibsonton, Florida.

Then you have three star defensive back Darrell Miller also committing to Tennessee. He won a state championship last year at Cedar Hill High School in the Dallas, Texas area. That brings the Class of 2015 commitment total to 22.

A couple Class of 2016 recruits committed as well.

Another Dallas area guy, Bailey Phillips, a three-star defensive back picked the Vols.

Saturday morning brought an in-state commitment from a guy they call one big freakin' brick in Butch Jones' brick by brick foundation. Ryan Johnson, a 6 foot 6, 275 pound offensive tackle from Brentwood Academy in the Nashville area. He's rated a four-star by 247 sports.
