The Vols finally have that signature win they've been searching for. Tennessee defeated No. 11 South Carolina 23-21.

Michael Palardy kicked a 19 yard field goal with three second left to push the Vols ahead.

Big Orange led 17-7 at halftime. But South Carolina scored two unanswered touchdowns in the third quarter to take the lead 21-17.

The Vols capped off a 67 yard drive in the fourth quarter with a field goal, putting the Vols down by one.

A big stop from Tennessee's defense late in the 4th gave the Vols the ball back and the offense took advantage.

Quarterback Justin Worley connected to Marquez North with a deep ball. North made an outstanding catch for 39 yards. Tennessee chipped away some time and yards with a couple rushes.

They spiked the ball with three seconds left on the clock at the two yard line. Kicker Michael Palardy brought home the win with a last second field goal.

This is the first time Tennessee has beaten a top 15 team since 2007.
